We are excited to welcome Sporting Club founder and award-winning sports journalist Ian Stafford to host our pre-launch events in Edinburgh.
Ian is one of the UK’s most experienced national newspaper and magazine journalists, having won nine national writing awards and covered every major global sporting event—from the Olympics to football and rugby World Cups—over the past 30 years. He appears regularly on national and international TV and radio, from presenting and reporting to guest punditry, on channels such as CNN, BBC, Sky, ITV, and Channels 4 and 5, as well as writing and narrating radio sports documentaries for BBC Radio 4.
Ian will share insights from his journey through the world of sports journalism and explain how he founded The Sporting Club back in 2018. He’ll also talk through how the Club operates and how it has helped many of its members grow their businesses. And of course, there’ll be a few funny stories about famous sporting stars that you may never have heard before.
We’ll also be providing a complimentary buffet for all attending.
This may well be the most profitable two hours you spend this year—and it will certainly be some of the most entertaining.
