Founded in 1875, Hibernian FC is one of Scotland’s most historic football institutions. Based at Easter Road, the Club has played a defining role in Scottish football history. Hibs were the first British side to compete in European competition in 1955 and reached the semi finals of the inaugural European Cup. Their legendary “Famous Five” forward line delivered three league titles and remains part of the Club’s identity today.
Hibernian FC is pleased to reveal this new partnership with The Sporting Club Scotland, a leading business networking organisation that uses the universal power of sport to connect professionals, foster relationships and create opportunities.
The Sporting Club provides members with access to exclusive business lounges in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester, and Dublin, alongside a year round calendar of high profile events featuring some of the biggest names in sport. It creates an environment where business leaders build meaningful relationships, entertain clients, and share experiences shaped by elite performance.
As part of the agreement, the Famous Five Experience in the North Stand at Easter Road will host a series of Sporting Club events throughout the 2025 to 2026 season, bringing members together inside one of Scottish football’s most iconic venues.
The first event will be an Inspirational Dinner with Judy Murray OBE on Wednesday 19 November 2025. Judy shares close family ties with Hibernian FC, making the evening especially fitting.
In addition to hosting events, Hibernian FC has become a Corporate Member of The Sporting Club Scotland, ensuring the Club is actively involved in the network and its UK wide programme of events.
